Maintenance is business insurance
A website isn’t “done” after launch. Without maintenance, it slows down, breaks, or becomes insecure.
Even simple sites need periodic updates, backups, and small content refreshes.
What maintenance includes
Security updates (framework/libraries), backups, uptime monitoring, and fixing broken forms/links.
Performance checks (image compression, removing unused scripts) so the site stays fast on mobile.
Content updates: pricing, offers, new photos, service changes, and seasonal landing pages.
How often you need maintenance
At minimum: monthly checks for forms, uptime, and performance.
If you run ads or depend on leads: weekly checks are safer (one broken CTA can cost you inquiries).
If you publish content often: treat it like a product—continuous updates.
SEO hygiene (small actions that compound)
Update old pages with new screenshots/testimonials.
Add internal links from Services to relevant blog posts (pricing, timelines, platforms).
Keep titles and descriptions accurate—Google may rewrite them if they’re unclear.
